EU aims to speed up Paris Agreement ratification

EU Environment Ministers expressed their desire to ratify the Paris Agreement as soon as possible. They agreed on this at their meeting in Bratislava on Tuesday. The agreement aims to attenuate and slow down global warming. Slovakia wants to finish the ratification process by late October to early November. On Wednesday, EU Economy Ministers joined the informal sessions to discuss the field of energy. The prices of energy and energy expenses in Europe should be the main topics for their discussion. Negotiations will be led by Slovak Economy Minister Peter Žiga.
