Slovak cyclist Peter Sagan finished second in the tenth stage of Tour de France on Tuesday. He managed to win the sprinting bonus and thus, regained the green jersey as the best sprinter of the peloton. After the race, Sagan said he ended up second because he is too good. "I spent a lot of energy during the stage. The boys didn't want to work. In the last 3 kilometres I had to defend some breakaway tries. All the work was up to me in the finale," said Sagan who missed the first place only by a bicycle's length.
