Finance Minister Peter Kažimír says that more than 6.3 million retail receipts have been entered in the new state receipt lottery since its registration on September 16. “We topped 6 million yesterday. It went up to 6.3 million this morning. The number is likely to go up to 6.5 million and perhaps even 7 million receipts by 11 p.m.,” said Kažimír, stressing that the initiative is supposed to attract the attention of people to tax evasion. The first 10 winners will be known in the first draw on Wednesday.
