Slovak movie 'Teacher' is competing at for the Crystal Globe award at the International Film Festival, held until July 9 in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. Czech Jan Hřebejk, the director of the movie produced as a Czech-Slovak coproduction cast mostly Slovak actors. "I wanted to persuade the creators, to involve our Slovak actors. I think they managed to bring something unique to the story. The fact that we are at the festival proves it was a lucky choice", said Zuzana Mistríková, the producer of the movie. The film is set in the Communism era and tells the story of a speculative female teacher.
