Priorities of the Economy ministry for the Slovak presidency of the EU council will include two major trade agreements, informed the ministry on Wednesday. Firstly Slovakia will conduct the ratification process and preparations for signing the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between the EU and Canada. Moreover, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) with the USA is also on the list. The ministry also wants to focus on the Energy Union project, energy security and environmental issues. "We want to move towards a low-carbon economy," announced ministry.
