Over 900 Slovak professionals of the Ground Forces of the Slovak Republic are training in the military training centre Lešť. The so called "Live Shield 2016" aims to prepare them for a possible multinational combat task conducted by NATO. During 3-weeks of intensive drills, the units will fulfil various tasks to prove their expertise. The training concludes in the last week of June with the certification of the trainees.
