Heightened security around Reduta during presidency

The most notable security and traffic restrictions in Bratislava during Slovakia's Presidency of the EU Council will be in the vicinity of the Reduta building, said Police Corps president Tibor Gaspar on Thursday. This includes Jesenského, Štúrova, Medená, Mostová and Kúpeľná streets - especially in July, August and part of October. Minor restrictions will apply to the historical parliamentary building at Župné Square, the Foreign Ministry, the Slovak National Theatre, Bôrik Hotel and Bratislava Castle. Certain restrictions can be expected near Bratislava hotels where delegations will be accommodated and during their transport from and to the airports. However, these measures should be applied only for the most necessary period of time, so that the public is inconvenienced as little as possible.
