On Thursday, a baroque garden at the Bratislava Castle was opened to the public. The entry is free, with the space being part of the castle's overall reconstruction which is still in progress. The renovation has cost up to €23 million so far with another €2.5 million to be needed for a project to display the Roman-Celtic artefacts found during the reconstruction works. The renovations of the Riding Hall, that will host cultural events in future, are also in their final phase. The main goal of the reconstruction was to give the castle the look it had before the major fire that damaged it in 1811. When all works are finished, 80% of the Castle's premises should be available to public.
