Slovakia earned one point against England after a 0-0 tie at the Euro Football Championship 2016 in Saint Etienne, France on Monday. The biggest star of the national team Marek Hamšík said: "We expected a tough match. England was the favourite team. We can be proud of ourselves." Slovaks, thus, ended third in the B-Group behind Wales and England. Out of the twelve teams that came to the third place, only the best four will advance to the eight-finals. Therefore, Slovaks will have to wait until Wednesday evening when the last group matches are played, to see whether they make it to the play-off stage.
