When it comes to money, Russian-speaking tourists seem to be the most generous spending €250 a day on their holidays in Slovakia. Moreover, they are getting more and more interested in the country. In the first half of 2013, the number of Ukrainian visitors in Slovakia rose year-on-year by 162 percent.
“Surveys show that the interest in Slovakia from Russian-speaking tourists is high, although the overall knowledge about the tourism and infrastructure options in Slovakia is quite low,” director of a Kiev-based publishing house Oleksandr Dranikov said at a press conference in Bratislava on Thursday.
