Slovak President Andrej Kiska ended up in the hospital last weekend after an injury to his hand. "Over the weekend the president suffered a sports injury. He has stretched ligaments in the hand and is suspected to have a cracked collarbone," told the president's spokesperson Roman Krpelan to the tabloid Nový Čas. The treatment period is estimated for 2-3 weeks. According to Krpelan, the injury shouldn't restrict the president in his work duties. Andrej Kiska is yet another Slovak statesman who has had to be treated in hospital over the last months, following the heart surgery of PM Robert Fico and the stomach surgery of the Parliament's Speaker Andrej Danko.
