After a decline in March, Slovak industry production increased in April by 7% on a year-to-year basis, reads an analysis from the Statistics Office of the Slovak Republic, with this increase in growth being the largest since November 2015. In the first quarter of 2016, vehicle production was the fastest growing field with an almost 12% rise. Production fell especially in rubber and plastic products by 12% and in coke and oil products production by over 13%.
