There is more and more legal wire - tapping going on in Slovakia. This is mainly tapping which has been requested by the police and by the military intelligence. A report summarizing legal tapping was presented to Slovak deputies in Parliament. On the other hand, the number of legal tappings done by the Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) dropped by more than half in comparison to the previous year, specified chair of the defence Parliamentary Committee Jaroslav Baška.
