Slovak Economy Minister Peter Žiga and his Czech counterpart Jan Mládek met in Prague on Wednesday to discuss closer cooperation within the gas industry, informed the SME daily on the same day. The two agreed that a common Czech-Slovak working group will analyse the possibilities for optimal and effective integration of their natural gas markets. One of the options is a proposal by the Slovak gas transport company Eustream to use its infrastructure for a planned Czech-Austrian transport route. "We are witnessing a shift in cooperation within our countries' gas industries in order to provide the best prices for end consumers", concluded the Slovak Economy minister.
