The Foreign and European Affairs Ministry disagrees with three Russian MPs from the Communist Party who want to award the soldiers who participated on the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 with Veteran statuses, informed TASR on Wednesday. "Our ambassador in Moscow has communicated with the Russian side. We believe that this initiative of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is in strong conflict with the Slovak-Russian Agreement on Friendly Relations and Cooperation from 1993", informed the Press Department of the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry.
