According to information gained by Slovak journalists who have so far mapped 5 suspicious transactions, Poelen planned to launder more than 10 thousand dollars. One of the founders of this company in Slovakia was the former minister Tomas Borec. Latem Trading is based in an apartment complex in which former justice minister Tomáš Borec also owns a flat. For the portal aktuality.sk, he denied knowing anything about the suspicious activities of this company. Borec believes that Panama papers will help pushing various jobbers from the public space.
