"Slovaks spend 18% of their income on groceries, while the Eurozone average is 13%", said Slovak Central Bank Governor Jozef Makúch at a joint press conference with the Slovak Trade and Tourism Association on Thursday. As Makúch conceded it might be caused by food prices.
