The state has announced an auction in order to sell business property in Bratislava's borough of Petržalka that belongs to Mafia boss František Borbély, who has been convicted of drug-related offences and extortion. This was announced in the SME daily on Tuesday. Half of a hotel, including a gambling den and restaurant as well as adjacent office premises with a business outlet and warehouse, will be auctioned off. The state is auctioning such extensive assets belonging to a Mafia boss for the first time. According to expert opinions, its total value is over €2.3 million. Official receiver Marek Glemba announced that the first round of the auction of Borbély's assets will take place in mid-June.
