The city of Bratislava received a subsidy worth €72.24 million to upgrade its vehicle fleet. Because of this, 30 new trams will be purchased via a project to be co-financed by the European Union. By the end of 2015 the fleet will also procure 80 new trolley-buses and 15 new trains to be used within the Bratislava region.
