The Slovak ice hockey squad has ended its performance at the world championships in Russia with a victory. In its last match, they beat the USA 3:2 in the overtime period and gained 2 points. Nevertheless, Slovaks needed to gain a 3 point victory to secure its quarterfinal match. Ranking 10th , they are heading back home.
