Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák took part in the European forum broadcast by the German public television WDR in Berlin. The discussion also involved his Luxembourg counterpart Jean Asselborn. According to the Slovak foreign minister, the best European way to solve crises and problems is to listen to each other and try to reach a consensus together. "Slovakia has never been a cause of problems in the European Union, showing always solidarity in searching common European solutions", said Miroslav Lajčák commenting on the stance of Slovakia towards the migration crisis. "Blaming the states with different opinions on mandatory quotas will not shift us closer to a solution", warned the Slovak minister. The European forum of the WDR is an international conference of top European politicians. The German public broadcaster has been organising it for 19 years.
