On Sunday the players of AS Trenčín defended their football title from last year in the Fortuna league and ended the successful season with a double (winning both the cup and the league). In Sunday's derby against Slovan Bratislava, the team from Trenčín led by Martin Ševela, won smoothly 4-0 and got ahead of his rival by eight points.
