PM Fico is back at work after heart surgery

Prime Minister Robert Fico is back at work. Only three days after being released from the hospital where he underwent a heart surgery, Fico headed the regular Government session on Wednesday. According to Health Minister Tomáš Drucker (who is a Smer-SD nominee), Prime Minister Robert Fico is recovering quickly. In reaction to Fico's early return to work and top politics the Health Minister stated that, "He's doing everything after consultations with doctors". According to Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák (Smer-SD nominee), the prime minister is in great shape after his surgery and he's recovering faster than expected. Lajčák added that on June 1, Fico is set to lead a delegation on its way to Brussels in connection with Slovakia's Presidency of the Council of the EU. Meanwhile, Justice Minister Lucia Žitňanská (Most-Hid) was surprised with Fico's presence at the Cabinet session. However, she refused to say whether returning to work is a responsible move.
