The man known for his notoriously velvety voice, and a grand Slovak theatre and film actor Karol Machata died at the age of 88 on Tuesday, May 3. Over his long career he was a member of the Slovak National Theatre ensemble, worked for Slovak radio as well as for Slovak television.
