The state budget posted a deficit of €646 million at the end of April, which was 34.8 percent lower year-on-year than the deficit recorded at the same time in 2015, the Finance Ministry reported on Monday. Corporate tax and excise tax revenues improved while a slight decrease was recorded in the amount of income tax on individuals and VAT collected.
