Slovak president discusses in the UN climate and migration crises

On Friday President Andrej Kiska held talks with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon at the UN Headquarters in New York. They also discussed the contents of the Paris climate deal. At the invitation of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, the global agreement on climate change was signed, symbolically on Earth Day, by leaders of some 200 countries around the world, including the Slovak president. Besides this, president Kiska discussed with the UN Secretary General the election of a new Secretary General as well as the current migration and refugee crises. He informed the Secretary General that he will participate in the Global Humanitarian Congress in Istanbul.
