Ivan Mikloš will not be part of new Ukrainian government

Former Slovak finance minister, Ivan Mikloš, will not become finance minister of the new Ukrainian government. In his own statement, Mikloš says he rejected the offer as he doesn't want to lose his Slovak citizenship which would be tied to this position. The former Slovak finance minister is at the moment is an aide to Ukraine's Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko. On Sunday the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced his resignation, implying support for the Speaker of Parliament Volodymyr Groysman as his possible successor. In March Groysman stated he would invite Ivan Mikloš to the new government. According to Mikloš, he has also received an offer to lead the team of the advisors.
