Measures to halt migration flows approved by the European Union in mid-March have started working, said Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák after returning from visits to Greece and Turkey on Sunday. According to him, efforts to resolve the migration crisis are moving to a brand new stage. MEP Eduard Kukan for SDKÚ-DS opposes this claim, as he finds the implemented solutions slow and the migration issue still threatening the functioning of the Union.
