IBM expands client innovation centre in Košice

IBM will double the capacity of its Košice-based Client Innovation Centre, Branislav Sebo, IBM general director for Slovakia and Czech Republic told TASR press agency. "The previous development and quality of people we managed to acquire and train are so good that IBM continues to invest and hire more people - whether it be senior experts or even university graduates whom we've been intensively training lately," said Sebo. The Centre was established in 2007 with the aim to provide IT and consultation services to clients in Slovakia, and regions of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. IBM management didn't want to disclose the exact number of employees, although according to TASR information, the figure currently is about 200.
