The Slovak Small and Medium-sized Businesses Association (SAMP) welcomes the new Government's intention to lower corporate income tax from 22 to 21 percent, said its president Vladimir Sirotka in an interview for TASR press agency. It also wants to push for the scrapping of tax licences, the introduction of licenses for self-employed private individuals and a reduction in energy prices.
When it comes to increases in the limits for flat-rate payroll contributions for firms the association will definitely like to return to at least 60 percent, while today it's only 40 percent. It also believes that meal vouchers should be scrapped and that employees should receive a fixed contribution of around €50, instead.
