Parliamentary vice-chair Lucia Nicholsonová (Freedom and Solidarity) decided to relinquish the use of a bodyguard and an official state car, to which she is entitled in her post. "I met with the head of Constitutional Officials Protection Bureau. When it comes to daily routes from home to work and back, I gave up the car and bodyguards. I'll be using them only extraordinarily for working visits outside of Bratislava and that's all," Nicholsonová stated on Wednesday. The Parliamentary Vice-chair considers the use of a state car useless, as she lives in Bratislava's centre close to the Parliament building. "I'm used to walking or using a bicycle and don't want to change my ways," she added.
