Marek Hamšik won the title of the Best Slovak Footballer of the year for a record fifth time. Second place went to Martin Škrtel, the third was Juraj Kucka. "The year 2015 was successful. The qualification for the European Championship in France was the highlight of the season. I believe that there was such euphoria in our participation in the World Cup 2010 in South Africa and now we delight viewers again. The national team is a good team, we have a great team, we stick together", said SSC Neapol's middle-fielder Marek Hamšik.
