Easter holiday begins

Slovakia has entered into the Easter holidays. As Christianity is the dominant faith practiced in Slovakia, this is also reflected in society. Friday and Monday are state and bank holidays. Primary and secondary students start their Easter holidays on Thursday March 24^th and they will come back to school on the next Wednesday, March 30^th, thus gaining altogether a 6 day holiday. Prior to the holidays, railway transport companies registered an increased demand for tickets, and the tickets for assigned seats have been bought out almost completely. The Railway company Slovakia (ZSSK) is issuing an extraordinary "Easter speed train" from Bratislava to the eastern town of Košice on Thursday March 24^th and on Tuesday March 29^th from Košice to the capital.
