The Slovak Technical University (STU) has made it into the top 500 universities in the world on the QS World University Rankings. STU was placed in the group ranked between 400-450 in the category of Computer Sciences and Information Technologies. "We're catching up with the world's leading universities and I believe that we'll go even higher. We have all the preconditions for this - skilled lecturers, new laboratories with unique equipment, internationally respected research and intensive cooperation with companies. Students don't have to go abroad to find high-quality education and research," said STU chancellor Robert Redhammer. The QS World University Rankings are among the so-called Big Three of the oldest world university rankings.
