According to the Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, the agreement between EU and Turkey from Friday has sent a clear signal to illegal migrants that it isn't worth it to pass from Turkey to Greece. The so-called 'return policy' entered into force as of Sunday, with all new illegal migrants coming to the Greek islands to be registered and returned to Turkey. The EU will take one Syrian from Turkey entitled to asylum in Europe for every Syrian refugee returned from Greece in a one-for-one swap. Even though Slovakia had objections to the migrant crisis solutions proposed by Brussels until now, Robert Fico ultimately hailed the conclusion of the EU-Turkey agreement. "We have to gradually close down migration routes through which uncontrollable masses of illegal migrants arrive," he said after the summit. He also expressed scepticism, stating that the migrant crisis is not over yet.
