Police have released information regarding the attack of a 29-year-old woman on Tuesday night at the Novohradská bus stop in Bratislava. The victim was reportedly doused with urine at 9:25 PM by an unknown perpetrator, announced Bratislava regional police spokeswoman Tatiana Kurucová. After the attack, the offender fled from the scene down Turčianska Street, in the direction of Trenčianska Street. Police say the attacker is a slim man of approximately 185 cm in height and around 23 years of age. He was wearing a blue winter jacket with a hood, blue jeans and pale sneakers. "As of early Tuesday, officers from various departments within the Regional Police force in Bratislava have recorded nine notifications in connection with urine and faecal attacks on female individuals", said Kurucová. "In this regard, we appeal to women to call the police toll-free number 158 immediately after the incident", said Kurucová, adding that any delay significantly reduces the chance of successfully catching the perpetrator.
