Jan Figel' announced on Tuesday his resignation from the post of President of the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH). He has taken this decision after the party, one of the oldest in democratic Slovakia, failed to make it to Parliament for the first time in its history. A party congress scheduled for Saturday, March 19 will elect new leadership.
