Foreign Minister Lajčák: EU wants new government to handle the Presidency well

"Slovakia needs the European Union, and I want the government to be aware of how important our Presidency is," said Lajčák. Slovakia will hold the Presidency of the EU Council in the second half of this year. According to Lajčák, with the results of Saturday's general election, Slovakia joined the European mainstream, that is, it became one of those countries experiencing an inscrutable situation and with extremists in parliament.
