The meeting between the outgoing Prime Minister Robert Fico and Slovak President Andrej Kiska to discuss the future Government was postponed to Wednesday because of Fico's presence at the EU summit in Brussels. On Monday Kiska announced he would give the mandate to form a Government to Robert Fico, the leader of the social-democratic party Smer who won the elections on Saturday with 28.2% of votes. The President has already discussed the situation with the leaders of other six parties which made it to Parliament but refused to meet with the far right.
