During the summit, European leaders should adopt major decisions with respect to the immigration crisis, including an agreement with Turkey. Initially, due to the election results, Robert Fico didn't plan on going to the summit, with the Czech PM Bohuslav Sobotka representing Slovakia's stance on the matter. In the end Robert Fico have gone to Brussels, where he is also supposed to meet with leaders of the Visegrad Four countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland).
