Turkish Airlines is introducing a regular flight connection between Istanbul and Kosice, Košice Airport announced on Tuesday. Further details should be provided soon at a press conference in Košice. "We're very pleased with the decision of Turkish Airlines to begin operating a regular line to Košice. Turkish Airlines operates flights to many countries, with this super-wide network of 284 destinations being soon available for passengers from Košice and the nearby regions of eastern Slovakia, as well as the Zakarpattia Region (Ukraine), northwestern Hungary and southeastern Poland", said Košice Airport CEO Michael Tmej. Košice currently has regular flight connections to Vienna, Prague, Kiev and London, with Warsaw coming up as of March 29.
