The leader of the party Democrats of Slovakia - Ľudovít Kaník announced on Monday's live TV debate that his party has stepped down from the pre-election rally. At the same time Ľudovít Kaník said that they will suggest to their voters to cast their ballots for other right wing subjects. This political party also lead by him in the 2002 parliamentary elections made a similar decision back then too. That time it resigned in order to support the SDKU and its then leader Mikuláš Dzurinda.
