Teachers dissatisfied with the state of schools in Slovakia organised a funeral march in the centre of Bratislava on Tuesday. "The main goal is to demonstrate mourning over the destiny of Slovak schools and difficult position of its survivors," said Juraj Halas from the University teachers' initiative. A part of university teachers is in strike as of February 15. On Monday, teachers and students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava travelled by train to support their colleagues in the Faculty of Arts in Kosice. The event entitled The heArt of rEvolution showed not only the solidarity with primary and secondary schools teachers but also the solidarity of the western Slovakia to their colleagues in the east.
