Building an expressway linking Poprad and Kraków (Poland) beneath the High Tatra Mountains and a rail tunnel between Štrbské Pleso and Zakopane (Poland): these are two of the topics discussed between presidents of Slovakia and Poland, Andrej Kiska and Andrzej Duda respectively, at a meeting in Tatranská Lomnica on Saturday and Sunday. Besides the infrastructure interconnection projects, the presidents also discussed the current migration crisis. Andrzej Duda pointed to the need for preserving the Schengen area, with Andrej Kiska adding that the possible disintegration of the Schengen area wouldn't resolve the causes of the migration crisis but instead would have a devastating impact - especially on Slovakia.
