A new passenger rail carrier is coming to Slovakia: the private company Arriva Slovakia, which will start operating trains on March 5th. Arriva will become the fourth rail passenger carrier in Slovakia. It will start operating one pair of trains per week from Prague via the mountain pass Vlársky priesmyk to Trenčín. The express train will depart from the Czech capital to Trenčín each Saturday in the afternoon, and the return is scheduled for Sundays.
