The starting point for the program of Slovakia's presidency over the Council of the European Union is to be decided at a government meeting to take place today, the SITA news agency reports. The aim of the meeting will be to identify the key areas that will resonate during the term which commences on July 1, 2016. The basic content framework of Slovakia's presidency is based on five priorities from the Strategic Program for the European Union in times of change, which was adopted by the Heads of State and Government of EU member states at the European Council in June, 2014.
