The non-parliamentary Democratic Party (DS) declared its support for the Christian Democrats (KDH) in the March 5 general election. The party is a spin-off from the one that merged with the Slovak Christian and Democratic Union in 2006. It does not have its own candidate list in the upcoming general elections.
