Slovakia's overall unemployment rate stands at 11 percent but there are regions, mainly in the east of the country where it can reach even 20%. With sectors such as construction and industry having the biggest projects mainly in Western and Northern Slovakia, the issue of commuting or relocating for work is a crucial one for jobless people and their potential employers.
