Consumer prices of goods and services rose by 0.4 percent month-on-month (m-o-m) and 3.8 percent year-on-year (y-o-y) in May 2026, the Statistics Office reported on Monday, adding that the current figures were slightly lower than in April in both m-on-m and y-o-y comparisons.
With the annual headline inflation rate of 3.8 percent in May 2026, core inflation stood at 2.3 percent, while net inflation amounted to 3.3 percent, the Statistics Office reported on Monday.
In monthly terms, both core and net inflation came in at 0.4 percent.
