The Slovak financial sector is stable, with the banking system resilient to external risks, according to a recent statement from Slovakia’s National Bank (NBS). Vladimir Dvoracek, a member of the NBS Bank Board, discussed the findings at a press conference on Monday following the release of the Financial Stability Report.
However, Dvoracek noted that growing uncertainty in the global economy has prompted a cautious approach from the central bank. He assured that there would be no immediate changes to monetary policy.
